![]() ![]() I''m about to uninstall and reload the game for a second time. I have not been able to do anything with this game much less install mods I've been doing all of the above and more with no results. As emynock suggest you might be pressing the wrong button on your controller -> try navigating the menu with the keyboard ( up/down-arrows and enter keys). ![]() There are (broken) mods installed -> disable and/or remove all mods. The installed files are incomplete / corrupted -> verify your steam library. If that doesn't help then the only other things I can think of are : You need to have allow "Unknown sources" in Oculus home for this to work. in Oculus VR mode" -> Launches the native Oculus version, where Oculus-touch *is* supported. This will work for both Vive and Oculus - but Oculus-touch is *not* supported. "Play Game." -> launches the OpenVR version. Select the game in your steam game-library, right-click and then you can: If you purchased on steam and you are playing with Oculus (and want to use Oculus-touch), then you *have* to run the native Oculus version. Originally posted by kalmiya:Where did you buy the game ( Oculus-store or steam) and how are you starting it? I've uninstalled the game and re-downloaded fresh but still get the same results. When I select "Easy" it sends me back to the previous menu where all I can select is Restoration Project which then sends me back to Difficulty settings in a never ending loop. I select New Game and the next menu allows me to only select "Restoration Project" That leads me to "Difficulty Settings"and only Easy is selectable. When I launch the game, the start menu comes up with only "New Game" selectable. As I've stated, I've no control over selecting any option. Regards Thanks for your reply, I've tried both XBox controller and mouse/keyboard. because under some circumstances a similar behavior is possible. I assume that you don't have any mods installed yet. What you describe is the behavior of selecting enter and than esc in the next menue. Normally you should be able to process through the menue simply by pressing the enter key (XBox A) after you've selected your preffered option. This did not help.Originally posted by eMYNOCK (MadHwK):i don't understand your issue.Īre you cycling from the start selection to difficult selection and back? ![]() I also tried launching the game in non VR mode (BTW : Steam VR complains about that.) and tried setting up the controls that way too. I also tried deleting the files in Documents\Ergosoft but that did not restore the Xbox360 profile. ![]() I see nothing in the manual that explains how to do this.īTW: I also deleted my Xbox 360 profile while playing with it. the d-pad and thumbsticks can be used to traverse the menu options and select options in small talk for example. Most things such as property owned and sector maps are accessed through the sidebar menu via a controller button. Along with the 4.0 update, the experience reaches a whole new level where the opportunities to TRADE, FIGHT, BUILD, and THINK have never been bigger. I recently purchased an xbox 360 controller and it works with the game fine. There is no way for me to assign my Saitek Rudders. Home of Light is the second expansion for X Rebirth, with new regions to explore and challenges to overcome. Joystick inputs are not assigned by pressing nor moving a control. There is no way to get out of the input assignment box. Then there is no way to get out of that field, unless I turn on my Xbox 360 controller and move a thumbstick which reassigns all of the other axis automatically. I am left with the blinking underscore in the input field. If I go to the "Non VR Controller" assignment screen and select an axis Moving an axis or pressing a button on my Joystick has no effect. If I load the Thrustmaster profile, the game does not respond to the joystick, throttle no button input from the Thrustmasters. When I launch the game using the Oculus start the touch controllers work but it does not accept ANY input from the Thrustmasters nor Saitek. I would like to map yaw to the Saitek pedals and Strafe Left to the left toe brake and Strafe Right to the right toe brake. I have a Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog Joystick and Throttle, Saitek Pro Rudder pedals, an XBox 360 Wireless Controller and the Oculus Rift setup. Here is the more detailed post I made in the other thread: ![]()
